Fleet and Family Readiness Programs at Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) are responsible for policy development, resourcin

g, and oversight of quality-of-
life programs for Sailors and their families. The Navy Quality of Life (QOL) mission is to
strengthen the warfighting capability of the Fleet, Fighter, and Family by providing
essential services that enhance well-being, resilience, and retention through the delivery
of Child and Youth, Fleet and Family Support, Fitness, Food Services, Housing,
Recreation, Casualty Support, and Wounded Warrior programs.

Just a reminder that MWR facilities at NAS Patuxent River & NRC Solomons will operate with holiday hours today, Monday, Sept. 6 and wishes our Navy family a relaxing and safe Labor Day 🇺🇸

•Auto Skills Center: Closed (normally closed on Mondays)

•Cedar Point Golf Course: Open 7 a.m.-Dusk

•Center Stage Coffee Shop: Closed

•Community Recreation Office: Closed

•Drill Hall: Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Usage of the Drill Hall is also permitted outside of normal operating hours (registration required). Visit navymwrpaxriver.com/drillhall for info.

•Drill Hall Indoor Pool: Closed

•Flight Deck Lounge: Closed (normally closed on Mondays)

•Liberty Center: Open 4-11 p.m.

•MWR Administration Office: Closed

•NRC Solomons Administration Office: Closed

•NRC Solomons Adventure Zone: Open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. *open Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. beginning Sept. 8*

•NRC Solomons Lodging Office: Open 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

•NRC Solomons Riverside Aquatics Complex: Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. *closed for the season beginning Sept. 8*

•Pax River Outdoor Pool: Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. *closed for the season beginning Sept. 8*

•Strike Zone Bowling Center: Closed (normally closed on Mondays). The Strike Zone will be closed Tuesday, Sept. 8 in observance of the holiday.

•West Basin Marina: 12-4:30 p.m. *open Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 8*

The largest outdoor recreation center in the Navy is saying 'thank you' to its awesome customers with a full day of FREE fun on Saturday, Sept 19 👇

⛳11am-5pm: Free miniature golf on NRC Solomons' 18-hole pirate-themed course
🎱11am-5pm: Free outdoor table games (pool, foosball, Ping Pong)
🏀11am-5pm: Free individual sports equipment rentals (tennis, sports balls, golf clubs)
