For the health and safety of everyone during the Independence Day holiday, no alcohol will be permitted on these Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit national forest lands — Chambers Landing Beach, Nevada Beach, Meeks Bay Resort, Zephyr Cove Resort, and Zephyr Shoals.

This annual alcohol prohibition will be in effect on the following dates:

🔷Chambers Landing – July 1–6, 2026
🔷Nevada Beach – July 4, 2026
🔷Meeks Bay Resort and Campground – July 4, 2026
🔷Zephyr Cove Resort/Zephyr Shoals – July 3-5, 2026

These areas will be patrolled by law enforcement personnel from the Forest Service, state and local law enforcement, and private security staff. Link:⬇️
