Our Story

Some things should be timeless -- the comfort of a homemade breakfast, the relaxation of a retreat into nature, and the warmth of friends and family, to name a few. To Pasadena, The Bissell House is a haven for such timeless comforts. Built in 1887, our home became the residence of heiress Anna Bissell McKay in 1902, later passed to her granddaughters, and has been adored by many families since, include the family that owns it today. We're proud to share the hospitality and Victorian charm of our B&B with travelers from near and far. Join us for a weekend away, a special celebration, or a vacation to remember. You'll find us on Millionaire's Row, ready with a smile and a warm welcome.
