We have strong opinions about many points of this article, including its geographic range (all of it is southern Maine or Mid-coast), the description as “cheap-eats”, and whether we’d recommend anyone eat at some of the places, ever. The fries at Butcher Burger are made with Maine potatoes, triple fried, sprinkled with sea salt and served with their Block sauce, their version of the iconic Big Mac sauce, but they also have oodles of other sauces like Bleu cheese, spicy mayo and sweet and sour, all good for dipping or drizzling.

Notable spots include Mr. Tuna Sichuan Kitchen, Eventide, Hot Suppa, and Tandem Coffee Co. for coffee and pastries!

We thoroughly enjoyed coming home to this cozy space to unwind and giggle.
