Join us as we kick off nine days of patriotic celebrations, family fun, live entertainment, history, and tradition for the official NC 4th of July Festival. The festivities begin Friday, June 26, with the π—ͺ𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗢𝗻𝗴 π—₯π—²π—°π—²π—½π˜π—Άπ—Όπ—» at the Southport Community Building, followed by the π—ͺ𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗢𝗻𝗴 π—–π—²π—Ώπ—²π—Ίπ—Όπ—»π˜† at 5:30 PM on the Fort Johnston Garrison Lawn. The ceremony includes a reenactment of the first Fourth of July celebration held in Southport in 1795 and sets the stage for an incredible week of events.

From the Firefighters Freedom Competition and Patriot’s Ball to the World’s Largest Ice Cream Sundae, parade, waterfront concerts, and spectacular July 4th fireworks, there’s something for everyone!
