What makes this partnership especially meaningful? It started as a camping trip.

While traveling the country for Nathan’s racing schedule, the Dupuis family stayed at several KCN Campgrounds, including Sweetwater KOA Holiday. After experiencing our parks firsthand, a simple conversation turned into a partnership that brings together two communities built around life on the road.

One of the best parts of the KCN Kampout is bringing people together.

KCN CEO Kevin Thueson and Operations Analyst Lexie Andrus work closely together year-round, but like much of our team, a lot of that collaboration happens remotely. Events like Kampout give us the opportunity to connect in person, strengthen relationships, and align even more effectively moving forward.

There’s real value in putting faces to names and stepping out of the day-to-day to spend time together as a team. It’s a reminder that behind every system, report, and strategy are people working toward the same goal.

The 2026 KCN Kampout is officially in the books, and this year was all about our people.

Over four full days, the KCN team came together to learn, collaborate, and push our operations forward. From hands-on trainings and leadership development to marketing strategy, systems, and campground management, every session was built to make us stronger heading into the season ahead.

What stood out most wasn’t just the content, it was the engagement. Our team showed up ready to share ideas, challenge each other, and continuously improve the KCN experience across every campground.

A huge shoutout to everyone who led sessions, participated, and made the KCN Kampout such a success. The level of ownership and teamwork on display is exactly what drives KCN forward.
