Hi everyone!

We made the decision to part ways with the resort property, and it closed yesterday. We are so thankful for everyone who came to stay at the resort and every team member who helped contribute to the magic at the resort. ✨

We know that this is probably disappointing, especially for those who had future stays booked (we issued full refunds to everyone today), but we are hopeful that you will understand we made the decision that was best for our family.

Thanks for everything! We wish you all nothing but the best. ❤️

ETA: The resort is permanently closing. The property has been sold and the new owners will not be operating it as a resort.

Girls trip, anyone? 👀

Cabin #5 is the ultimate ‘girls trip’ cabin - it has the *perfect* 70s/hippie/girl power vibe. The velvet purple couch, the elegant pink chairs - it is all apart of the perfect girls getaway. 🌸

“But it only has one bed!” you may be thinking - no worries! We have a plan for you. We have seen several groups do this and we thought it was a pretty cool idea: One of them rented this cabin, and the others rented mini cabins. This means they all had access to a whirlpool bath hot tub, full kitchen, and living space!

The Iron Oak Cabin ( #6) is our most popular cabin (by far) for couples. It provides a very intimate atmosphere without sacrificing space or luxury - it has a king bed, living space, full kitchen, and of course, what is a romantic evening without a private whirlpool bath hot tub? ❤️🌹

What exactly is a ‘mini cabin’? 🤔

Our mini cabins have only the bare necessities - a bed, full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, tv, and heating/cooling. However, they do include full access to the resort - saltwater pool, 24/7 game room, walking trails, coffee shop, fire pits, basketball goal, yoga, and everything else Thousand Oaks has to offer. ✨

These cabins are perfect for those on a budget coming for a quick getaway, anyone who plans to be on the lake or at the dam all day - or just someone who plans to spend more money on experiences than lodging. 🤠
