New Historical addition alert! Civil War history signs Written and designed by our historian-in-residence, Chris Mackowski. Thank you to our friends at Civil War Trails, Inc. who produced and installed these new additions to our property!

Our four new historical signs highlight the Civil War at Stevenson Ridge; the battle of the Ni River (which took place across what is now our front yard on May 9, 1864); the death of Gen. Thomas Greely Stevenson (for whom Stevenson Ridge is named); and SR’s earthworks. We have more than a mile and a half of trails and some super well-preserved earthworks that also help tell SR’s Civil War story.

A love story told through color, creativity, and craftsmanship. 🤍✨

Megan and Forrest’s wedding was filled with the most beautiful details, from the gorgeous color palette and stunning artwork created by the bride to the incredible metalwork crafted by the groom. Every detail reflected a little piece of who they are, making their day all the more special. 💍
