💗Great news💗 Danielle had her final surgery and is doing well! We are so happy to watch her progress. Thankful doesn't even begin to cover it!

Wait until you see what’s blooming at Carter Plantation! 🌻 We’ve traded some empty space for a field full of wildflowers, and the results are honestly magic. From towering sunflowers to a mix of colorful blooms, it’s not just pretty to look at. It’s a huge win for our local biodiversity, and the bees and butterflies are already big fans. 🐝🦋

You might even spot some familiar faces in this reel. That’s our General Manager Alex’s beautiful family enjoying the view! We’d love for you to bring your own crew out to wander through the rows. It’s the perfect spot for a quick photo op or just a peaceful stroll. All we ask is that you leave the flowers for everyone to enjoy, so please, no picking! 🌸

Bayou Boys bring home a USGA title. 🏆

Congratulations to Lawrence Allan and Grady Brame Jr. on winning the 2026 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona! The former Southeastern Louisiana University teammates defeated their opponents 4 and 3 in the championship match, playing a remarkable 42-under-par over 90 holes across five matches to claim the title.

Lawrence now serves as Head Coach of the Southeastern Louisiana men's golf program, which calls Carter Plantation home. He also holds our course record with a 62, shot in a round that just happened to include Grady by his side. Check out his scorecard!

They became the first Louisiana golfers to win a USGA championship since David Toms' 2018 U.S. Senior Open victory. If that name sounds familiar, it should. David Toms designed Carter Plantation, making this one feel a little closer to home.
Their win earns them an exemption into the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship at Merion Golf Club in August, one of golf's most storied venues and a direct pathway toward a future U.S. Open.
