Our history is making headlines! People recently took a look back at our building’s days as The Mayfair Hotel, and the story of how the chocolate-on-the-pillow tradition reportedly got its start right here. As the story goes, Cary Grant left a trail of chocolates during a stay in the 1950s, a hotel manager took inspiration from the gesture, and the idea eventually became a hospitality tradition recognized around the world. We love seeing this unique piece of our past in the spotlight!
