🌊 From Floodwaters to Fun & Games 🏐✨

In early April, our glamping community at Red River Gorge faced a tough blow—unexpected flooding swept through our peaceful retreat, leaving behind more than just muddy boots and soggy trails. But when the water receded, it left us with something unexpected: a whole lot of sand.

Instead of seeing a mess, we saw an opportunity.

💡 That extra sand became the perfect foundation for something our guests have always wanted: a sand volleyball court! With some teamwork, a bit of creativity, and a whole lot of raking & excavating, we turned what could have been a setback into a new space for joy, laughter, and connection.

Now, just steps from our cozy glamping tents, you'll find the newest addition to our little paradise—a full-size sand volleyball court ready for bumping, setting, and spiking under the open Kentucky sky. 🏕️☀️

At the Red River Gorge, we believe in turning lemons into lemonade—or in this case, floods into fun. Come see for yourself how nature's detour turned into your new favorite hangout spot!
