Originally a plantation property, the 45-acre Walnut Hills Campground is steeped in history yet offers all the modern conveniences. Fish in Lake Kerplonken, play in the game room, swim in the pool, attend weekend

activities, visit the playground, feed the ducks, play a round of disc golf on our 9 hole course, play horseshoes or sit by the creek—it is all on the grounds for your use! Visit nearby attractions, such as Woodrow Wilson Birthplace, New Market Battlefield State Historical Park, Monticello, Natural Bridge, Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, Frontier Culture Museum and countless antique shops and flea markets. Maintenance Lead Position
Experience the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley this fall and winter! Walnut Hills Campground & RV Park in scenic Staunton, Virginia, is looking for a dedicated Work Camper to join our team beginning October 23rd.

Enjoy a serene escape just minutes from downtown Staunton's attractions, hiking trails, and local shops. Our season runs through the 1st of April, 2027, giving you plenty of time to explore the area's many day trip opportunities.

This position is 40 hours per week performing maintenance and grounds duties. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Daily site inspections
Maintaing the roads, snow removal when necessary
Lake maintenance
Golf cart maintenance
Honey wagon service
Electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry repairs
Various projects
Operating equipment ( backhoe, tractor)

What we offer:
$18/hour for all hours worked
A full hookup site
Discounted propane and store items
Laundry reimbursement
