Hi all! As most of you know, John and I closed our B&B on November 1st. After 5 years in the business we decided it was time to retire for good. It turned out to be a good decision since John broke his ankle just before New Year's and was absolutely useless for at least six weeks. It would have been very difficult to keep up around here by myself because John did a lot of tasks. He washed all the dishes and loaded the dishwasher while I put food away and cleaned up after breakfast. He also ran all the errands and did the grocery shopping in addition to shoveling and mowing.
He's pretty much back to normal now and we're enjoying sleeping later and having an extra cup of coffee in the morning. We're putting in some time in the veggie garden and weeding.
