Our resort experience is quintessential Pacific Northwest in everything from our 254 comfortable guest rooms, 6 luxury tree houses, two on-site restaurants and 175-acres of nature and wide-open spaces. Sitting in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Skamania offers limitless outdoor recreation right at our doorstep including hiking, biking, ziplining, axe throwing, brewery & wine tasting, windsurfing, historic museums, and so much more. Skamania also features a full-service spa, fitness center, outdoor fitness trail and soon to open in summer of 2021 - a brand new 9-hole golf course and 18-hole putting course.

The Gorge knows how to do cozy. 🍂

Autumn has its own rhythm at Skamania Lodge. Mist drifts through the evergreens, coffee comes with a view, and the outdoor hot tubs offer a welcome contrast to the crisp mountain air.

Add the brilliant colors of the Columbia River Gorge, and it's easy to see why this is one of our favorite seasons.

If these walls could talk, the floors would have a few stories of their own.

More than a century old, the pine flooring in our Gorge Room was reclaimed from a former to***co warehouse in Georgia. The lodge's massive timber supports have a history of their own, salvaged from the former Bumble Bee Tuna factory in Astoria, Oregon.

When Skamania Lodge opened in 1993, these materials found a new home in the Columbia River Gorge. Today, the historic flooring also extends into the River Rock Lounge and Cascade Dining Room.

A little history, hiding in plain sight.

Over in the Backyard, our Gorge Golf & Adventure Shop carries favorites like Nike, prAna, Sanuk, and more, along with premium golf and outdoor gear.

Both shops are open daily to lodge guests and the public. And with the holidays just around the corner, it's a lovely time to stop in and explore. 🧡
