Dear Cane Creek Customers & Guest,

I am happy to report that the credit card reader for the gas dispenser on the fuel dock at Cane Creek Marina is NOW back working properly as of 7:00 PM Thursday, 5/28/26. You can now purchase gas unattended 24/7.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we have worked diligently to upgrade the equipment and to get this system back online.

You can still pay in the store by pressing the ‘Pay Inside’ button. However, swiping the card at the dock and now in the store provides the same customer benefit less the long walk up the hill.

I have left the telephone number and the ‘Ring’ doorbell camera on the dispenser in the event you need assistance in the future with the fuel dock.

Thanks again for your patience. Hopefully, we are back to a state of normal for a change.

There was excellent progress yesterday (Friday) with snow & ice melt throughout the campground areas, roads, and campsites. However, the ice simply softened and melted a bit only to re-freeze overnight. Below are a few photographs of the campground as of this morning Saturday, February 7, 2026.

No damage seen at the campground or the boat docks since the storm occurred two weeks ago.

I would suggest that we will get significant thawing progress over the next 2 to 3 days with warmer weather. Please do not feel you need to rush down and relocate your camper to their proper campsite. The roads are still very slick, and I needed 4WD to move throughout the campground this morning. Most campsites are still ice covered, and you could not drive up the hills anyway. Perhaps next weekend the grounds will be dry enough to start moving campers. We are best to exercise caution and move slowly as the grounds thaw out and dry up to prevent property damage for the facility and your camper.

Reach out via email or call at (931) 622-8101 with any questions.

Cane Creek Marina & Campground continues to thaw out from the recent 2026 snowstorm. Our docks are back to normal with 90% of the snow & ice melted from the roofs. All docks are floating properly & no extended damage occurred as a result of the storm.

Customers are free to enter the docks as needed or required to check on their boats. Power remains on to the docks, and we saw no interruption in power during the snowstorm event.

The roadways and drives throughout the campground remain very slick and much harder to walk and drive across with water standing on the ice base layer. If you visit the campground or dock areas exercise extreme caution with walking around on the snow and ice pack.

Attached are a few photos of the docks and campground as of today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026. You can reach us at (931) 622-8101 with any questions.

Our docks are still holding up well under the snow and ice loading, but conditions are too risky to allow customers on the docks for boat inspections. Our A-Dock has one section between two fishing boat with the slip finger just below the water line, but all other docks are holding under the increased load. At this point, we do not see any permanent damage to any docks.

Contrary to a few social media post, Cane Creek Marina & Campground is weathering the storm as well as most other marinas. If you have any questions, please contact our office at (931) 622-8101. The ice is melting but not fast enough.

Photos of the docks, boat ramp, and campground are listed below as taken at Noon today (Friday, January 30, 2026). The pictures with 2 fishing boats included are the full extent of damage (perceived damage) to the A-Dock as we know it at this point. It’s bending but not breaking!

If conditions change, we will make another post.

We have a few campsites available for rent on an annual basis! Call for inquires and options. Stay safe and warm.

We hope that everyone that was able to celebrate July 4th with us on Saturday 5th had a wonderful time! It was great to see so many friends and family watching the Fireworks show from the campground / shore and from boats in the Cane Creek harbor.

Thanks to Mike Muncy for sharing a few great pics with us. If you have any pics to share from Saturday, please post.
