For this Union Square office renovation in New York City, Eric J. Smith Architects challenged us to create conference rooms that could open, close, and adapt without disrupting the architecture.
PK-30 System unified fixed glass panels, swing doors, and a center-folding wall using the same narrow aluminum profile throughout. The result is a flexible workspace that maximizes daylight, preserves privacy when needed, and maintains a consistent visual rhythm from every angle.

Symmetry in motion.
At Arup New Jersey office, DESAI/CHIA envisioned a workplace defined by openness, proportion, and disciplined geometry — and the centerpiece is a 14-foot bi-parting sliding glass wall that transforms the conference space without disturbing a single clean line.

PK-30 engineered the system around the architecture, not the other way around: a track-free sliding opening with no floor channel, ultra-slim profiles, panels sized to reinforce the symmetry of each elevation, and custom flush pulls developed specifically for this project. The best part is what you don’t see — the engineering disappears, and the architecture remains.

A daily Mass chapel inside a Manhattan office.

The Pontifical Mission Societies needed their entire U.S. headquarters on a single floor of a converted commercial condo in Midtown Manhattan. The program: private offices, open workstations, and interconnected conference rooms — all requiring acoustic separation without sacrificing transparency.

Bromley Caldari Architects specified the PK-30 System across every zone, floor-to-ceiling glass partitions to maintain open sightlines, swing glass doors for acoustic office enclosures, fixed panels to push daylight deep into the floor plate, and single sliding doors where swing clearance wasn’t feasible.

The result: one seamless design language across 665 sq ft with every square foot working harder.

At City College of New York’s Advanced Science Research Center, we engineered a 45-foot curved sliding stacking partition that defines space—then disappears completely when flexibility is required.

At SAVANA in Brooklyn, PK-30 collaborated with Fogarty Finger Architecture | Interiors to deliver a conference room enclosure that balances openness with clear spatial definition.

The solution includes a single swing door with four adjacent fixed glass panels, spanning 31 linear feet, unified by a consistent horizontal mullion configuration across all panels. This disciplined rhythm reinforces the project’s geometry while maintaining visual continuity and acoustic separation.

Modern Simplicity at Queens’ Tallest Luxury Tower. 🏙✨

At The Orchard in Long Island City, the design demanded a system that could match its skyline presence—refined, quiet, and built to perform.

Teaming up with McCartan Design, we delivered a cohesive interior glass solution totaling 277 linear feet and 58 panels. From swing doors to operable walls, the PK-30 System ensures a consistent architectural language that maintains clarity and rhythm across multiple floors.

We engineered a fully integrated system of 12’-tall operable walls, fixed panels, and custom swing doors, designed to maintain uninterrupted elevations while delivering acoustic performance and long-term durability.

Scope we delivered:
• 1 bi-parting, four-panel operable wall (24’ span)
• 2 bi-parting operable walls (12’ span each)
• 7 fixed 12’ tall glass panels
• 2 custom 12’ tall swing doors with panic hardware
• Custom alignment + hardware solutions engineered for 12’ height precision
