🍁 The stone boathouse beside Backbone Lake is one of my favorite views in Iowa’s first state park. In fall, the colorful trees make a beautiful backdrop for this quiet corner of the shoreline.

Be sure to stop over at the Edgewood Locker just a short drive to Edgewoid and stock up on some great tasting meat for the grill and some quick snacks while you are out and about. (Protein packs for those Hikes)
