Last month, we brought the summer camp spirit to our winter office and held our first leadership meeting! Our staff traveled from near and far, with some joining remotely, to prepare for the incredible summer just around the corner. We jumped into our programming, schedules, responsibilities, safety, and every detail that makes the Akiba experience so special. The energy was high, the ideas were flowing, and we all left feeling energized, connected, and so ready to make this summer one to remember!

Join us in giving a warm camp welcome to Antonio and Tricia! Antonio, our Athletic Director, brings over five years of experience working with youth athletes. Currently coaching Football at East Stroudsburg State College, Antonio has worked across multiple sports bringing a strong background in player development, leadership, and program organization. Tricia, our Arts & Crafts Director, holds a BFA with an emphasis in ceramics from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Sculpture from the Rome University of Fine Arts in Italy. She’s spent years inspiring creativity as the owner of “Art In Seattle” and teaching ceramics and art to students of all ages. We’re so excited to have them both on the team this summer! 🏈🎨
