⁉️ Did you know…

June is Great Outdoors Month! It is also great time to visit Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The clean, cold streams and places such as Little Niagara and Panther Falls offer visitors a place to cool off. Families and friends can picnic throughout the park. Fishing is good at Veterans Lake and Lake of the Arbuckles. Visitors can hike and bike on park trails.

However, you chose to recreate at the park, keep a few things in mind:
☛ Check the park website or NPS app to plan your visit.
☛ Be weather aware. We are in Oklahoma!
☛ Visitors fishing within Chickasaw National Recreation Area must follow the fishing license requirements in accordance with Oklahoma laws and regulations.
☛ Practice Leave No Trace Principles to help protect this beautiful park.
☛ The Travertine Nature Center is open Thursday through Mondays, 9 AM to 5 PM. Stop by and speak to a ranger if you need more information.
