The fire work changed our Marble Pass plans, so happy to see the group get the mine tour as planned and get to the Granite Fire Dept. Hamburger Feed.

Great news, Fire Danger levels decreased from Extreme to High. Still no wood fires until the city changes their standing and word comes down from local fire chief.
Best part, the dust is gone and temperatues are much cooler.

We got 1/4" of rain yesterday and 50 degrees at noon! PERFECT CAMPING WEATHER!
NO SMOKE TODAY 😀
Bring your propane fire pits 🔥 as we are still under fire restrictions. But is this looking like a great weekend to camp, ride, and visit the flea maeket!market! And if you like BBQ, get kn down and see Matt at Blind Duck BBQ across from the Gold Post grocery store!

Everybody be careful!!!!

There will be lots of Fire Fighting traffic on Mill street, Bonanza, and around the event grounds where the fire camp is.
So please be mindful of this heavy traffic in town and also the flea market will be going on, so there will be cars looking for parking spaces too.
If you are attending the Oregon vs Boise game at the Sumpter Dome I will update you on the parking situation tomorrow. things for the USFS are a moving target right now but our event is solid! and with some rain hopefully knock the fires down if not out and the dust along with it!

As most of you know, I crafted some earrings this year, Jon had to get in on the action too! We now have Jon's personal line of earrings and accessories. ( jk, they are his heirloom Christmas Tree ornaments!) 😂😉👏👏
