NEW GEAR! Introducing the PEN F Speed Primes. These lenses date back to the 1960s, designed for the Olympus’“half frame” Pen F camera system, which used an image area similar to motion picture 35mm film. The results were lenses that were very fast, small, sharp, and absolutely beautiful. Bokeh is stunning. Flares are gorgeous. And performance will surprise you, especially coming from vintage high speed lenses.

These magnificent housings utilize GL Optics new cam focus system. Close focus is incredible. The full set covers Alexa 35 Open Gate. The first 3 focal lengths are th 42mm T1.4, 60mm T1.7, and 70mm T2.2, with many more ultra fast focal lengths on the way.

NEW GEAR! Introducing the H1 Primes. A set of fast, lightweight, compact, FF cinema lenses, with vintage character, modern mechanics, and swappable mirrorless mounts. Ancient Optics teamed up with to build these ambitious primes. The goal was to build lenses for projects that demand smaller cinema lenses, without sacrificing character, performance, or mechanical quality.

NEW GEAR! And it’s our oldest! The glass in this lens is 98 years old! Yes…this Astro Berlin 50mm f1.8 Pan-Tachar was produced in 1928, and now beautifully rehoused by Zero Optik. Thanks to and our partnership with we will soon have a complete set of 1920s and 1930s Astro Berlin primes for rentals.

In 1928, this lens sold new for $70.00 and was considered to be one of the highest performing lenses of the time. It’s a simple 4-element design with uncoated optics. As for the look, the lenses resolve well on center with soft corners. Since they are uncoated, they have very low contrast. They are flattering on your subject, and ideal for portraits. Bokeh has a beautiful texture, with slight soap bubble, and there is a lovely swirling effect, drawing your attention to the center of frame. Flares are neutral in color and will take on the hue of the light source. There is nothing else like them.

ARRI Alexa 35 Xtreme kits are available at OFG. If you want to utilize that max frame rate of 660 fps, we have plenty of fast vintage and modern lens options to help you out with the light loss, including this unicorn: the TLS Zeiss B-Speed 14mm T1.4. This lens is based on the 18mm T1.4 B-Speed, and has matching character and performance, and retains the B-Speed’s unique triangular iris. We also have TLS Super Speed sets with circular iris, and we have custom 14mm T1.3 for those sets as well.
