Before Cricuts, laser cutters, and online tutorials, crafters were creating masterpieces with sheets of plastic canvas, colorful yarn, and a whole lot of patience!

From tissue box covers and coasters to Christmas ornaments and wall hangings, plastic canvas projects were everywhere in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Many of us still have a handmade piece tucked away somewhere—or proudly displayed!
