Prairie Oaks Inn

Prairie Oaks Inn We are a traditional Bed and Breakfast catering to families, travelers, the curious and more. Activ

Built with oak logs, this solid ranch-style house gives visitors nearly 8,000 square feet of space inside, not including the huge wrap around porch, deck and screen porch. Whether you are just passing through or come with us as your destination our hope is to give you an experience you will remember with a smile and share with others. An operating alpaca ranch, a stocked pond, excellent hunting in

the area. Centrally located in south central Kansas area attractions include: Underground Salt Museum, Quivera Wildlife Refuge, Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Museum, NJCAA Basketball Tournament, and more. Also on the property of the log hose is the original Brownlee Home. This is a unique home we are in the process of fixing up as a museum. It is full of art, interesting architectural designs inside...and a working pipe organ. This will be open in the future for tours by our guests and for a nominal charge to those who just want to experience it without staying with us.
