Due to recent flooding at Hanging Rock and forecast of more rain we are going to reschedule our Thursday drum circle event and Sunday music event. We appreciate you understanding and will update you when the new date is decided upon!

We are still holding space for our Earth, Sacred places, rivers and streams, wildlife and community with our own personal Firekeeping beginning tomorrow and lasting through May 1. So please pray, send good vibes to our community and to one another in your own way if you feel. Know that others out there will be doing the same.

Hanging Rock Camp
was opened in the late 1920's as a fishing village and known by many as the first business on the Illinois River. As the Camp nears its 100 Year Anniversary, we would love to gather history, pictures and stories over the next year to share on our site from time to time and as we prepare for festivities! Marcus is entering his 15th Season at the camp and although float operations have ceased for the time being, he continues to work toward a better future for all of us at Hanging Rock Camp!
The 100 Year Anniversary date has not been set yet and will occur once Hanging Rock Camp is restored. We want to be ready to Celebrate with All of You! Please message any history, pictures and stories to messenger on our Instagram, Facebook or 918-458-7957 or [email protected].

Thank you MASON JAR REVIVAL for the great music performance last night, Kelly KellyQuah Anquoe for his Storytelling and Fireside Magic, Elli & Hannah for offering face painting and Art Activities for the kids, Bigfoot for being bigfoot! Hanging Rock staff and everyone who came out to enjoy a beautiful, fun and peaceful evening together for our 2nd Annual Bigfoot Festival at Hanging Rock Camp!
