One of North Lake Tahoe's most spectacular annual displays is the lupine bloom! π
Each year, thousands of lupine flowers blanket sections of the shoreline, creating incredible photo opportunities. The size of the bloom often depends on lake levels. Some of the most dramatic displays occur when Lake Tahoe is below its natural rim, and this year the lake is currently sitting just a few feet above that mark.
No matter what, we're expecting beautiful pockets of lupine to emerge along the shore. Just how extensive the bloom will be remains to be seen.
Grab your camera, lace up your walking shoes, and bring a little patience. The perfect shot may require some waiting, but it's always worth it. πΈβ¨
