When I was in 5th grade, I took the Hellgate jet boat excursion for the first time. Back then, bald eagles were rarely seen here. This Mother’s Day weekend, at 56 years old, I got to witness not just one eagle — but a nesting pair who raised their eaglets along the river. 🦅

What a beautiful reminder of how nature heals, restores, and thrives.
