What a week!

Seven days ago, the trailblazing MacDill Force Support Squadron was recognized as a finalist for one of the most prestigious honors in the parks and recreation field — the Gold Medal Award- Armed Forces Category, recognizing the top recreation organizations in the nation.

While they didn’t take home the top prize this year, their impact, innovation, and dedication continue to shine across the Air Force community. Their nomination alone speaks volumes about the incredible work happening at MacDill and the standard they set for others to follow.

We couldn’t be more proud of how they represented the Air Force. Keep leading, keep inspiring, and keep doing great things, Team MacDill — the world is watching.

We’re incredibly excited to represent MacDill AFB and the 6th Force Support Squadron on the national stage and celebrate all the hard work, creativity, and dedication our team has poured into Outdoor Recreation this year.

Now there’s only one thing left to do… BRING HOME THE GOLD! 🥇🏆
