The Spanish Colonial is a sumptuous first-floor room with king bed and excellent mountain views.

A wonderful blend of influence from Spain and Mexico, the Spanish Colonial has luxury details that create a warm and comfortable space. A Saltillo tiled vestibule leads into the main room, filled with hand carved details, wood floors, and large vigas in the high ceilings.

Perfect for a romantic get-away, enjoy the Taos sunset from your private deck before you start a fire in the wood-burning kiva fireplace and take a long soak in the two-person jetted whirlpool bath.

"What a charming, lovely, beautifully restored, historic adobe hacienda built in 1800 as part of a fortified Spanish settlement in Taos... It is owned and operated by the congenial, informative, and endly fascinating Peggy, who is also a stellar cook. Ideally situated a mere 15-minute walk from the historic Taos Plaza. I absolutely adored my stay here and found the Inn on La Loma Plaza enchanting." — C.C.

Happy Trails a charming, cozy second floor King room in the main building with views of the mountains and surrounding area. Warm your toes round the wood fireplace with tiled hearth, or you venture out through the French doors onto your private, outdoor breezeway and sitting area, looking on one side to the La Loma historic district plaza, one of the oldest residential plazas in the Southwest circa 1800, and on the other side to the Inn’s park-like grounds.

Happy Trails can also connect with Carey’s Studio across the breezeway to create the two room Taos Mountain suite.
