Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to honor Sgt. Brandon Asbury and all the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Sgt. Asbury made the ultimate sacrifice during combat operations in Baghdad when his unit came under enemy small-arms fire. His courage, dedication, and service will never be forgotten. The Iron Horse cabin stands as a lasting tribute to Brandon’s personality, life, and sacrifice — a place built in remembrance and honor.

Today we also remember every fallen service member and the families, friends, and brothers and sisters in arms who continue to carry their memory forward. Their sacrifices secured the freedoms we enjoy every day.

May we never forget their courage, their duty, and the price they paid. Honor and remembrance today, and always. 🇺🇸

It's coming! The RT16 Rally & Music Festival is planned for June 5-7 in Tazewell County, VA and it's sure to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience showcasing the spirit of the Heart of Appalachia.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy live music on multiple stages on both Friday and Saturday, with performances taking place at popular venues including the Wayfarer Appalachia and the Back of the Dragon Headquarters. From regional bands to crowd favorites, the festival atmosphere keeps the energy going day and night.

Motorcycle rally activities, the Cole Harley-Davidson Kick-Off Party, a Main Street Cruise-In with police-escorted parade, Stunt shows on Friday and Saturday, a Sunday Breakfast Ride, Blessing of the Bikes, Bike games and co****le, Food trucks, vendors and more round out the festival activities. We have an venue & hosting change for our upcoming Betsy Ross Breakfast!

This special event will now be held at the Cove School AND hosted by the Cove Community Association and Project Nehemiah.

All profits will be shared 50/50 between the two organizations to support ongoing restoration efforts in our community.
