Introducing Watsu - an aquatic thermal treatment that blends massage & the surreal experience of sensory floating in natural mineral hot springs.

This weekend, we’re excited to offer a few select treatments with Utah’s only certified Watsu practitioner alongside our pop-up yurt massages.

If your mind, body, & nervous system feels like they’ve been drifting beyond your comfort zone, Watsu is the closest thing we’ve experienced to returning to a womb of grounding steadiness.

Equal parts massage, care, adventure, & trust, we’re thrilled to welcome up a new tradition to the shores and this weekend you’re invited to dip your toes alongside us into this magical new frontier.

Explore our calendar for offerings all weekend long and remember, if our soaking sessions are full, joining one of our treatment offerings always comes with an all day pass to enjoy the pools and sauna before or after your treatment.

Mother’s Day is coming in hot…

On any given day, our land is more often than not wandered by women. So, naturally, our take on Mother’s Day is a reflection of what we see on a daily basis.

Every human being is thrust towards this day of recognition with a common origin - we all have a mother, bliss and baggage aside, to bear witness to.

Yet not every woman is able, chooses, nor has meandered the life path to become a mother in the traditional sense.

We take a universal delight in knowing that the entire human species can relate to, for better or worse, a fluid idea of motherhood.

We can all take a moment to smile at the luck, happenstance, care, and perhaps even chaos, found in the relationships with our own mothers.

On the other hand, we can also expand, just a hint, our awareness of what it actually takes to make a life after being born.

A life well made, lived, and loved takes Mother’s for certain, but it also takes teachers, community mentors, sage neighbors, tradition keepers, ritual passers, and even “how-to-brush-your-hair” & “tie-your-shoe” helpers and friends.

It takes a fabric of feminine collaboration to weave together each and every one of us. So this weekend, we can’t help but celebrate the many roles that blend together to embody motherhood in our communities.

A motherhood untethered just a hint from the biological rite of bearing a child. One instead anchored into the many roles required to make a life.

Because if we’re being honest, these women, formal and not, often form the feminine sisterhood that steps in and steps up when the daily nurturing of maternal biology requires that extra push of support.

This weekend, give all the life-makers in your world some love, however they show up for you.

And should you find yourself on our shores to celebrate, we’ve got soaking, pizza, massages, music and more all weekend long! Tickets in our profile.

Introducing Indie Films at the Springs, a new series fighting to buoy the art of independent cinema & the power of local storytelling and you’re invited to join our inaugural fireside evening screening of shorts this Sat 4/25!

Soaking, short films & a directors Q&A in the yurt is how these evenings will roll from 5-9 PM!

Now, more than ever before, original stories from local filmmakers need to be told. The human-based art of authentic storytelling has never been under more threat.

At a national level, programs supporting artistic and cultural creations have been gutted. At a social level, algorithms and big data predict what studio audiences want to see, not what they should. And then of course, the distracting allure of AI in the arts is not-so-gently suggesting how neat it would be if data centers took the helm from here on out.

Add it all up, and we’re doubling down on connecting guests to real people making real stories in our own backyards.

Join us as we welcome SLC director .cinema as he screens his collective work of short story films, one of which is based on two of Maple’s very own team members, Aubri and Mel .He’ll share with us his inspiration and dedication to tell stories of human growth, grief and love.

Tickets include half day & evening packages.

We’ll see you this weekend. Are you a film maker who wants to showcase your work? Send us a note and let’s make it happen!

If you’ve had the chance to catch his musical magic over the years, you’ll know what that journey brings with it. If you haven’t, well, there’s really only one way to find out what we mean.

This surprise pop-up is included for all existing guests or you can join with an evening soak & sitar pass available in our event calendar or profile.

A thought on the mystery and magic of SURPRISE.

Yesterday was Good Friday & tomorrow is Easter - depending on your beliefs around the world, we’re entering a weekend interwoven with equal parts death & resurrection, loss & love, sacrifice & SURPRISE.

And, in true Mountain West fashion, there’s a healthy dose of boondoggled baskets and mutant pastel rabbits defying the boundaries of science to lay technicolored eggs sprinkled everywhere in between.

Throughout it all, the power of SURPRISE seems to surface and it makes one wonder - how might I show up in the world offering the mystery and magic of surprise.

Springtime, after all, brings the same eye catching energy - a sunny morning transforms into a snowy day that gives way to moonlit night. A tulip bulb blooms in the blink of an eye and a fruit tree literally blossoms while we sleep.

At a time when the world’s religions are at war, when neighbors can’t seem to agree on much, and the daily news can bring a job loss, a health shock, a mood drop, and oh so much worse… it’s worth remembering just how delightfully SURPRISING for the good we can each be.

This Easter weekend, try SHOCKING those around with good news. A thank you note, a love letter, an hour of service, an unexpected call, an overdo favor, a text to say “I was wrong”, a hug to say “I love you” and even a little surprise to yourself by offering a little more grace in moments of failure.

So, no matter what devastation precedes it, Easter, it turns out, can be full of surprises, ones that can add up to a better Spring, a closer family, a tighter community, a softer year, and even a better life.

If there were ever a need for resurrection, it’s now.

Here are a few recent surprises that have landed on our shores of late….

Friends, we’ve got some big news that we CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT!!

If you’ve noticed, we’ve been pretty quiet lately on social media... meanwhile, Utah is having a moment on reality TV and it’s no coincidence…

For the last 3 months, we’ve been filming the premier season of “Just Soak”, a new reality drama featuring the 2019 neighbors of some of the original cast members of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

That’s right, Janstika and Gareth from South Jordan joined our team back in Jan as our Yoga Fellow and Groundskeeper.

At a time when our collective attention keeps landing on exhausting and vibe killing issues like spontaneous new wars, accidental bombings of schools, masked men in airports, rising gas prices and most importantly the cultural loss of TFP’s thoughtful Season 22 of Bachelorette, we are honored to play a role in dulling your senses to the world around.

If you’re like us, you don’t need more “substance” shouting at you from the roof tops, you need to sit back and remember that even though our planet’s ecosystems are collapsing under the weight of a rapid changing climate amidst an AI expedited technological revolution that is unraveling the very socioeconomic fabric holding up the flacid shell of an American Democracy turned grifting saggy suit-staffed used-car lot ATM for billionaires at the expense of food stamps, healthcare, global peace and human dignity generally….

You can forget all about it and JUST SOAK!!!

It’s April fools, turn off the TV, put down the phone, and let’s stop giving EMPTY things our FULL attention.

We’ll see you in the real world!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

We arent sure what the opposite of a Paddy’s Day pub crawl that ends with your friend Kevin puking on the back seat of a 06’ Toyota Camry masquerading as a 26’ Uber only to clean it up with a green sequined vest he had no business wearing to begin with is…

But it might be this. It might be here.

In case you hadn’t heard, everyone is now officially invited to consider joining us for our May - Sept Season by snatching up one of our 2-night options that span all of our spaces and seasonal camping. 1 night stays are possible on Tue/Thu.

As traditions go, we love to recognize and thank those guests who have supported us over the last year. If you see some already booked up dates, that’s because guests who have stayed with us over the last year were invited to take part in a priority booking release.

But don’t worry, so far as we can tell, there are plenty of magical options throughout the season, including some freshly posted packages on our events calendar for our Summer Sound Bath Concert Series on June 27th, July 25th as well as our 3rd Annual Strings at the Springs Sept 25-27th.

As always, every night’s stay comes with 24 hr access to the hot springs along with a coffee, tea, and cacao bar in the morning. And unlike before, our River Sauna is now included for all nightly guests 18+ for all day contrast therapy circuits rooted in the natural tradition of wood-fire sauna sweats + cold river plunges.

Looking for the ultimate Super Bowl tailgate dip before the game this Sunday?!?! Side note… If this is how you’re learning it’s the Super Bowl this weekend, you’re not alone…

Either way, everyone is invited to dip their toes into another poolside chat on 2/8 at 1pm as part of our ongoing series “Curious Conversations”.

We’re excited to welcome up Founder Kate to share the incredible potential for change when ordinary people decide to BECOME the solutions they crave to see in the world.

If you’re feeling like things need to change in your community, nation, environment or even within your own mental health journey, come hear Kate’s story about transforming her friends su***de into a community-driven movement fueling mental health and wellness all across the Wasatch Range.

We’ll explore the audacious idea that everyone can turn ideas, concerns, and struggles into real-world solutions. At the same time, the Norkova mission to make mental health accessible, fun, and a peer-led journey offers A LOT of tangible tools and solutions that can turn friend groups into life-saving support systems while also converting strangers into new friends.

Our series Curious Conversations aims to introduce guests to topics, ideas, and perspectives that may be new, hard, complicated, and far too often, divisive. For centuries, Humans have gathered in calming mineral water to have these safe, curious dialogues. No debates, no fights, no right, no wrong, just listening. Just curiousness. Just questions. Just understanding.

Join the conversation before or after your soak and snag a ticket in our profile!

Also… go sports!! 🏈
