Town of Thermopolis Alert: Beginning tonight at 6 PM, you'll hear loud mortar-style fireworks during the Bobcats playoff football game to announce each touchdown. Following a Bobcat victory, there may be an additional celebratory volley with several loud reports in succession. Please help spread the word and Go Bobcats!!

Scary evening yesterday, a lightening strike started a fire near the Wind River Canyon. BLM, Thermopolis Fire Department and skirt planes from Lander amazingly got the fire under control.
