There will be a Peace Walk this Saturday at 10 am in Springfield. We will meet at the parking lot beside The State Theater located at 19 S. Fountain Ave. It will be two miles and the route is listed below. Please do not bring signage due to the nature of this event. Limited signs will be available and handed out to carry. This was planned prior to yesterday’s tragedy. However, we will dedicate this march to the memory of Pierre Damas Bel and his family. Please feel free to share this information widely so others can come and show their respects and support for this young man’s loved ones.

Walk two blocks north along Fountain Ave. Turn left on E. Columbia Road, walk one mile west along E. Columbia. Turn left on N. Western Drive, walk one block south. Turn left on W. Main, walk one mile east along W. Main. Turn right on S. Fountain Ave., walk one block south. End at the State Theater parking lot.
