Well, the cabin is ready fo the next guests. Due to arrive this afternoon. Special treat for them. They can watch the moms and baby goats right out of their window playing. The babies are starting to to really starting to come into their own now. Jumpingand playing and showing each other who is the boss.

Making Beef Stroganoff and cornbread for the guys coming into the cabin tonight. I think I might make them a pumpkin carmel cake as well. Hope it turns out good.

Took homemade chili over to the guests in the cabin tonight. I do think this was a good choice for their dinner. As they had been out fishing in the cold weather. But they caught some fish.

Well. It is cold out this morning. But, the fishermen are heading down to the river. Nothing seems to stop them. I have a repeat customer staying in my house. He has some fishing buddies coming down as well. So I have a pork and potato dinner cooking for them. May even make some homemade bread for them today. It is after all, one of those days when you just want the oven going ad homemade goodies coming out of it.

Well Bob and Brenda are gone. After a 4 day stay at the cabin thru Christmas. All of their kid and grandkids came by and had dinner with them. They had a great stay. I love having them up. They just kick back and relax. They are gone now and fishermen are staying now for 2 days. Fishing is good. Give it a try and stay at the cabin.

Fishing, Fishing, Fishing. I am out doing my chores this morning and in 10 minutes 5 trucks with boats past my barn. Headed to the Blue Creek fish hatchery. The fishing is picking up. And I have people booking the cabin. Come and join the fun. Catch some fish and stay at the cabin. No need to drive back to town when the cabin is three and half miles from fishing and one and half miles from dining and gas.

Everyone, the fishing up here is picking up. One of my regular customers was up earlier this week and spent 2 nights at the cabin, because the fishing on the Cowlitz was so good. So, come up and put in a day or two of fishing and stay just three and half miles from Blue Creek fish hatchery. Coffee and donuts provided. And a crockpot dinner can be waiting for you when you get back from fishing. This is a great way to end your day of fishing. Just need to make reservations and request a dinner ahead of time. So, come on. Catch some fish and have homemade chili that night.

Getting the Christmas tree decorated and the house decorated for Bob and Brenda and their family coming back to the cabin for Christmas. They rented it for Thanksgiving, and the family (grown children) with their kids came. They had a great time. So they are coming back for Christmas. I want it to be like a winter wonderland for them when they show up. So the tree is in. Now to decorate it. Get lights up and decorations out side. Will post pics when done

I would like to take a few minutes to thank my guests Bob and Brenda. They spent Thanksgiving in the cabin.
Bob and Brenda found the cabin early this summer. They loved it. Brenda likes the quiet nights and no phones. Bob just likes the quiet time. Time for them to relax.
They decided to rent the cabin for Thanksgiving. They put out a request to their 4 kids and family to join them. And two of the kids and family did. They all had a great time. I do believe Brenda and Bob had 10 of the grandchildren hear. They even had a few unexpected visitors. As the bottle brat kid goats of Double Trouble Ranch saw all the kids and thought they would join the party.
However, Bob and the kids put the brats back into the pasture. With plenty of dishes and cooking supplies they were able to have a great dinner and lots of fun. Infact they enjoyed it so much they are coming back for Christmas.
So, I just want to thank the Norton family for spending their holiday at Cozy Classe Cottage. Love having you and can't wait for your next visit.
