I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The convenience of the location was perfect. Beyond that, the accommodations were even better than expected. What impressed me the most was the quality of care and customer service we experienced. 20 out of 10 stars as far as I am concerned.

Throughout the Tombstone Historic District in Tombstone AZ there are these little signs - called Waymarkers. These were done by the Tombstone Restoration Commission.

A waymark is a single location (usually) of some interest (at least, to someone). Many are historical locations where a traditional geocache would not be allowed. The main difference between waymarks and geocaches is that geocaches want you to locate a "hidden item". Waymarks are absolutely NOT hidden. There may be geocaches very near a waymark. And Tombstone AZ does have some geocaches.

At the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce office there is a WayMarker guide by the Tombstone Restoration Commission available. In the comments we've posted the Waymarking website - for the Arizona Historical Markers.

The Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park is a MUST SEE when visiting Tombstone AZ. They are open (Summer Hours) 9 am - 3 pm.

A Little History of the Tombstone Courthouse
Built in 1882 in the shape of a Roman cross, the two -story Victorian structure once housed the offices of the sheriff, recorder, treasurer, board of supervisor, jail and courtrooms of Cochise County. Today exhibits portray the authentic history of Tombstone as a frontier silver mining boomtown including a replica of the gallows where seven men were hanged.
