Some fishing pics from the weekend: Tyler with a 3.2 lb. pompano, Tyler and Colin with a stack of nice pompano, and Syd with a big speckled trout; nice work guys!

We've caught some nice sea mullet and red drum so far today. The wind has calmed down to about 12 mph NE now, so great fishing conditions!

Here's Gerald with a 14.5 lb. black drum caught yesterday morning! We had a Good mix of fish yesterday, with lots of blues, some Spanish, black drum, and speckled trout. Bigger sea mullet are showing up also; we're catching them on bloodworms.

The wind is NE, and is forecast to remain there most of this week. Good fishing conditions!

It’s a beautiful day today! We have sunshine, a light NNE breeze, and temps around 70 degrees. The seawater temp has dropped to 67 degrees this week.

We caught spots and VA mullet from the pier (better at night) and the blues were thick early this morning. Scattered trout were also in the mix.

After a wet windy day yesterday, we have sunshine, cooler temps, and a stiff NNE wind today, with more of the same forecast for the next several days.

Fishing is picking up, with big blues, VA mullet, and slot-sized red drum in the mix this morning.

It’s bright, sunny, and warm this morning, with a SW breeze. Big changes are forecast, with a cold front coming through tomorrow. Expect some showers on the edge of the front and a wind switch to NNE.

Greg is pictured with a 23 lb. King caught late yesterday. We caught chopper blues and Spanish yesterday, and some spots and croakers last night.

The Autumn With Topsail festival kicks off tonight, and goes through Sunday!

It’s sunny and warm today, with a light breeze from the SW! Cooler weather is forecast for the weekend, with the wind shifting to NNE by next week.

Fishing has been slow during the daytime, with some blues, Spanish, pompano and, jacks caught. After dark we have seen black drum, trout, spots, and pompano.

The annual Autumn With Topsail festival is this weekend!

Mike and Colin with a pair of kings! 28 and 25 lbs. The blues are thick!!

We have overcast skies, very light wind, and clear water now. Cooler temps and ENE winds are in the forecast this week. Perfect fishing conditions!

We caught some Spanish and pompano today, and a few VA mullet last night.

Colin and Dave hammered the big pompano yesterday!! Lots of big blues hitting GotCha lures daytime, and cut bait after dark. Some red drum in the mix.

Colin with a 22 lb Cobia caught on a GotCha lure today!

The start of a beautiful day, looking eastward before the sun comes up, and westward as the full harvest moon sets. The moon was amazing last night as it rose over the ocean, and will be again tonight. We have a great forecast for this week as we move into October!!

Fishing was hot this weekend for big blues! Gotcha lures, cut bait, and live bait all worked, and these are fat Fall blues, 3-10 pounds. We're still catching nice red drum, from slot to over slot size. Lots of baitfish are still pouring down the beach. Pic is Slade Powell with a 33 lb. king caught this morning!
