A huge shout out and thanks to all who made the 2016 Lake Shetek Campground a HUGE success! We had 15 pots of chili! Thanks so much to our judges: Gail Desmet, Cathy DeBates, Rod and Angie Sykora and John and Muriel Coulter!

Chili winners were:
1st Place: Sean & Melissa Burns
2nd Place: Tammy Bolt
3rd place: Darwyn Klarenbeek
Campers Choice: Lisa Buys

Bean Bag Champions were Randy Bolt and Rod Sykora

Chili cook-off weekend! Make sure to have your favorite pot of chili ready for judging at 3:00! Also have your arms ready for bean bag tournament! Should be a fun weekend!!!!!!!!

Hey campers! It's time once again for our annual Chili Cook-Off and Bean Bag Tournament! It will be held on Saturday, 9-17! Bring your favorite pot of chili and have it ready for judging at 3:00! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place chili as well as the Campers Choice! There will also be prizes for the winners of the bean bag tournament! Hope to see you all there!

Our Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast was so much fun, so we are doing it again on the 4th of July! We will have pancakes and bacon, so bring your favorite breakfast dish and join us for breakfast!

Thanks to all who participated in the pancake breakfast today! What a wonderful weekend with the campground full of lots of friends and families! Was wonderful to get to know the "newcomers" to our campground! Special thanks to John, Travis and Shorty for cooking the bacon, eggs and pancakes; "SnapOn John" and Pat for all their help mixing up the pancake batter and setting up; the guys who helped move picnic tables, and everyone for the yummy food! (No one should have left hungry!!). There were close to 60 people there! What a wonderful way to "kick off" the summer camping season! 😎

We would like to welcome everyone to our 2016 camping season ~ especially the newcomers to our camping family at LSC! We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!

There will be a Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast as a "kick-off" to the camping season! The campground is furnishing Bacon and pancakes. Please bring a breakfast/brunch dish to pass, and your beverage of choice! It will start around 10ish in the area near the clubhouse. Hope to see you all there!

Thanks to all who made the 4th Annual LSC Chili Cook-Off a huge success!!!! Congratulations to the winners! 1st place: Karen Boehm; 2nd place: Jay Roufs; 3rd place: Travis Domine; and Campers Choice: Lisa Buys! And thanks also to the judges who had to pick from 12 pots of chili!!!!!

Our Bean Bag tournament was tons of fun also! Congrats to the winners: Randy Bolt & Fred Roufs; and second place to Shorty Carstenson & Jim Kleinhesselink!!!!!!!!

Another Labor Day weekend is done - thanks to all who brought food for our pancake breakfast! Shorty counted about 32 adults and 13 kids for breakfast! Wow!!!!!

Hi Campers! Just wanted to keep you updated on a couple upcoming dates to remember!

Labor Day (9-7) we will be having a Pancake Breakfast! Time to yet be determined!

And, our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off & Bean Bag Tournament will be Saturday, 9-26! Chili judging starts at 3:00! Hope to see everyone there!!!!!

Can you believe it is the 4th of July already??!! The summer is flying by!! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that has not been informed yet about the Pot Luck supper planned for Friday Evening (July 3rd). Shorty is roasting a hog and everyone else is to bring a dish to pass. Start time is 6pm.
