September, we’ve been waiting for you. 🍂🍷

The days are still warm, the evenings are getting a little cozier, and Traverse City is settling into one of our favorite times of year.

Here’s what we’re looking forward to this month:

🎆 A spectacular night along the bay for the International Fireworks Championship, September 11–12.

🎨 Strolling downtown and browsing the Downtown Fine Art Fair, September 12–13.

🐎 A day at Flintfields Horse Park for the American Gold Cup on September 20.

🍇 Harvest season on Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas — arguably one of the best times of year to explore northern Michigan wine country.

⛵ Sneaking in a few more beautiful days on Grand Traverse Bay while the September weather is still on our side.

🌅 Crisp mornings, quiet beach walks, and watching the sunrise over East Bay from Alexandra Inn.

🍸 Rooftop evenings at Blush with a glass of local wine and some of the best views of the changing season.
