Neighborhood party w music Sept 20th

One of my very favorite Traverse City events is happening a week from today! For one magical Sunday afternoon each September, Traverse City’s historic Central Neighborhood transforms into an open-air music festival, where dozens of local musicians volunteer their time and talent to perform on front porches of local homes. It’s a lovely, music-filled afternoon filled with camaraderie! Traverse City Porch Fest will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 on Sunday, September 20.

I usually get a burger at Bubba's then take it down to the coin slot and listen to live music outside while watching all the happy tourists walk by. You can play arcade games if you want. Very easygoing enviroment.

After the activities from the Marathon then you may want to relax at the Grand Traverse Resort for a fun Comicon.

Cherry Capital Comic Con(C4) is Northern Michigan’s largest comic book and pop entertainment expo. Located at the scenic Grand Traverse Resort, C4 is Northern Michigan’s perfect gathering of comic book creators, exhibitors, and fans.

It has been an exciting day in our neighborhood! Spectating the BayShore Marathon right from the house. Congrads to those who have already passed the finish line.

The Bayshore Marathon is happening on May 23.The marathon, half-marathon and 10K are all sold out. That's about 8,000 runners competing between the three events
