Just now emailed Senator Stabenow about declaring a federal disaster zone for all of Michigan, based on the harm to businesses dependent on tourists. They've already canceled the Trout Festival and the NMC Barbecue. That's proper, but many of us may need SBA loans to tide us over, and the county has to be certified by FEMA to be eligible. So far, these counties are declared federal disaster zones: Berrien, Branch, Cass, Hillsdale, and Saint Joseph.
