1. The Bear – Grand Traverse Resort (Acme)
Par 72 • ~7,078 yards • Rating 76.1 • Slope 150
One of the toughest courses in Michigan. A true test even for experienced golfers.
2. The Wolverine – Grand Traverse Resort and Spa (Acme)
Par 72 • ~7,045 yards • Rating 74.5 • Slope 140
A Gary Player design with two very different nines. Wetlands on the front, hills and views on the back.
3. Spruce Run – Grand Traverse Resort (Acme)
Par 70 • ~6,200 yards • Rating ~71 • Slope ~136
More forgiving and fun to play, with water in play on multiple holes.
4. Bahle Farms Golf Course (Suttons Bay)
Par 72 • ~6,800 yards
Wide fairways, vineyard views, and one of the more relaxed rounds in the area.
5. Manitou Passage Golf Club (Cedar)
Par 72 • ~6,900 yards
Tree-lined and peaceful, often ranked among the most scenic in the region.
6. Champion Hil Golf Course (Beulah)

Links-style with elevation and sweeping views of Lake Michigan.
7. LochenHeath Golf Club (Williamsburg)

Known for incredible Lake Michigan views and championship-level design.
8. The Crown Golf Club (Traverse City)

A local favorite with rolling terrain and a mix of challenging and playable holes.
