When Mike and Brian McMenamin first walked this property, it wasn't the Edgefield we know today. The buildings were boarded up, windows were broken, and plans were already in place to tear much of it down.

But where others saw an abandoned poor farm, they saw something else: a gathering place. A place for music, art, gardens, good food, handcrafted drinks, history, and community.

More than three decades later, that vision is still growing.

Join us on June 13th as we celebrate McMenamins' 43rd Anniversary with all-day happy hour pricing on Cajun tots and pints of 1983 Lager, plus a special anniversary Passport hunt that includes a stop right here at Edgefield (going on now!).

If you've spent enough time wandering McMenamins properties, you've probably seen one of these staring back at you. They're called Pipe People!

Created from ordinary pipe fittings and transformed by McMenamins artists into a cast of characters, they've been quietly peeking out from corners, gardens, and walls across our properties for years.

Now a new collection of hand-painted Pipe People by artists Myrna Yoder and Eona Skelton has arrived at the Edgefield Gift Shop!

Each one is unique. Each one has its own personality. And honestly, we're not convinced some of them aren't keeping an eye on things after hours. 👀
