Golden Oak Inn The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast was originally established in the 1980's as the Silver Oak Leaf Inn.

Throughout the years some structural changes have been made but each owners intent was to preserve the integrity of the building. The old address was 196 Canton Street, but due to 911 readdressing the address has been changed to 477 Canton Street.

Artist Retreat Weekend – August 4th – 6th 2023
Spend a weekend immersed in art with fellow artists or aspiring artists. No prior experience is needed to have some fun with others. Meet some new people, gather your friends together and have a weekend to remember and art pieces to take home to treasure. Stay at The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast in the Endless Mountains region of Pennsylvania. Art instruction and supplies will be provided for all 3 paintings! Limited Availability, call early.
Friday August 4, 2023. Arrive between 3pm – 6pm to get checked in at The Golden Oak Inn B&B and get some dinner on your own.
6pm – 8pm head over to The Studio of Troy less than 2 blocks away and paint Fluid Art “Spoon Flowers” on a 12 x 12 canvas. Get a good night’s rest because you will have a busy day on Saturday.
Saturday August 5, 2023. Breakfast will be provided and begins at 8:30am at the B&B.
9:30am – 12:00pm you will start your second painting at The Studio of Troy, an Acrylic Painting “Fancy Cow” on a 12 x 12 canvas.
12:30 – 1:30pm Lunch will be provided. Head over to the B&B. (A menu has not been determined at this time to check with guests who may have allergies).
1:30 – 3:00pm Breaktime, take a nap, or chat with fellow guests and artists.
3:00 – 5:00pm Head back to The Studio of Troy for your 3rd painting. Liquid Watercolor & Ink Painting “Heritage Carrots” on 11 x 14 matted watercolor paper.
5:00pm Dinner is on your own. Feel free to get together at a restaurant of your choosing with friends you made over the weekend and share your wonderful experiences.
Sunday August 6, 2023. Breakfast will be provided and begins at 8:30am at The Golden Oak Inn B&B.
11:00am Check out is by 11:00am. If you have any artwork that you left at The Studio to dry, head on over to pick it up and have a safe trip home.
The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast has teamed up with The Studio of Troy, in Troy, Pennsylvania to offer a great price for everything mentioned above. We ask that you pay using cash or check and make reservations with credit card. Rates are based on BOTH nights for double occupancy and both individuals painting artwork at The Studio and taxes included.
Lincoln or Pennsylvania Rooms $626.40. South Room $604.60. North or Clara Barton Rooms $583.20.

Calling All Artists! If you are an artist or aspire to be one, a special art class will be offered at The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast. Get out of the cold this winter and paint this incredible 16 x 20 oil on canvas art piece. Instructor Bonnie Bell-Hilfiger will be here to provide instruction and all materials. Class is scheduled for Saturday January 6, 2018 10:00am - ?. In the event of a snow storm an alternate date of February 10, 2018 is proposed. The class is $50.00 per person and at the end you have made your own masterpiece you can take home to give as a gift or show-off to family and friends!
