We've thought about the water here more than you might expect.

Every unit has RO filtered water. We've ditched plastic and gone to stainless steel cups as they are durable, clean, and better for the environment and our bodies.

We think the details matter. The linens are organic cotton. The bath products are EO Organics. And the water is clean and cold and waiting for you when you get here.

Following our wellness theme, I wanted to share more about our tea and coffee service. ☕🍵

There's a difference between caffeine and a coffee ritual.
Every unit has a Nespresso machine with a rotating selection of high quality varieties. We also stock a full tea lineup for every mood: Earl Grey, Mint, Green, Sweet and Spicy, Bedtime, and my personal favorite, Magical Blue Butterfly, which is the most surreal, gorgeous color. 🫖

We wanted the first few minutes of your morning to feel intentional, where you can step outside with your cup, sit in the sun and let the desert wake up around you.

Whether it's an espresso with a view of the mountains or a refreshing mint tea before a long soak, we encourage slow mornings with the best beverages.

P.S. All of this can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own unit, every tiny home has a kitchenette and RO filtered drinking water so you never have to leave your little sanctuary to make it. 🌿

There's a reason some of us love small, cozy spaces.

Last week, I took a wonderful nap in the Dream Wagon's Moon cubby with the curtains closed and was reminded of how soothing cozy spaces are. Your nervous system reads enclosed, quiet spaces as safe. It's not unlike being a kid building a fort, that instinct to have a little cave of your own doesn't go away, I think as adults we just forget it sometimes.

At Spellbound there's so many cozy spaces to curl up. Obviously the cubbies in the Dream Wagon, but also the loft in the Phoenix Outpost, or even the entire Fairy cottage. Being curled up in Rosy's Oracle with the blackout shades down and fairy lights on is pretty cozy too. These spaces are designed to give your body permission to fully rest. Not just sleep. Rest in cool, quiet, soothing spaces 🌙

I think in our society, we underestimate how much we need that and I'm honored to offer these restorative spaces 🪷

So grateful for our Transformational Tuesday series! Please note that next Tuesday 6/9 will not be held. We made the decision due to travel and the warmer weather to wrap up for the season, and look forward to hopefully bringing this series back in the fall once it cools off a bit. I realized with all the chaos of construction, launching, and events I never properly introduced myself (the owner and founder of Spellbound) to our amazing community. Being a little shy doesn't help either 😅

My name is Anika (pronounced like Monica without the "M") and I'm originally from Albuquerque, NM. I'm so honored to be part of this community here. Truth or Consequences has always held a special place in my heart. I would come down here as a child with my hot-springs-loving parents, and then again when I was in school at New Mexico Tech up in Socorro. T or C has been a place of connection with family and friends, and a place of renewal. With sensitive skin, normal hot tubs and their chemicals never worked for me, the springs, on the other hand, have always been so soothing and healing.

Fast forward from those visits to T or C, I moved to Arizona and spent 10 years in school in a field that wasn't a fit for me. When I finally graduated I was so relieved and also very much in need of restoration. About six months later, I had a unique opportunity to purchase a property in Truth or Consequences, and this special place was back on my radar. That property fell through (you can read about that here https://spellboundsprings.com/blog/how-i-found-spellbound-springs-a-story-of-murder-magic-and-meant-to-be-moments), but it led me to Spellbound and a job that brought me here full-time while I closed on Spellbound and another property. The job didn't pan out, but that didn't matter because my full-time job quickly became rezoning, planning, and building Spellbound. During that time I met my current boyfriend in Phoenix, who is so, so special to me and played a crucial role in the construction and moving of tiny homes here at the property.

Zoning took about two months, construction another five months, and then Spellbound was born.I was able to find the restoration I needed and a new career path as I responsibly and sustainably developed Spellbound.

I currently split my time between Arizona (where my wonderful boyfriend is) and Truth or Consequences, working on Spellbound and some affordable housing apartments (more to come on these soon). I'm so grateful for the incredible team here keeping this place running.
Anyways, that's a little about me. I'm truly honored to share this special place with all of you, and I hope others can find the same restoration here that I did. ✨

This week I want to share a little more about the wellness side of Spellbound, because it goes deeper than just the restorative hot springs. 🧘

The turf area was designed specifically for year-round outdoor gatherings, yoga, and sound baths. (Sidenote: We did a ton of research and went with a turf that is short, soft and springy with excellent drainage so it's dry and useable even after rain)

There's something about rolling out a mat outside, under the desert sky, with the mesquite trees overhead, that's different than any studio.

Guests are welcome to use this space for yoga, stretching, or just lying on your back watching the clouds. It's also where our current sound baths are happening as part of our fabulous transformational Tuesday programming ☀️

🔮 In case you missed it last week or are ready to join us again, Transformational Tuesday is happening this Tuesday, May 26th at Spellbound Springs — an evening dedicated to nervous system regulation, healing, and deep community connection.
🌙 What's Happening:
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Mini Intuitive Card Readings with Janet Caliri of Visible Transitions. First-come, first-served with a suggested donation of $20–$40.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Outdoor Sound Bath with Cherie Love Shine. Relax and reset under the stars with immersive frequencies. All are welcome regardless of ability to pay, with a suggested donation of $5–$10.
🧘‍♀️ What to Bring: Your own yoga mat, pillow, or blanket. We have a limited number of mats and zero-gravity recliners available on-site.
📍 506 Gray St, Truth or Consequences, NM — event is at the back of the property. Please park on the street to the west of the Spellbound entrance.
