Starting September 19, we’re bringing a little Bavarian spirit to the mountain with Oktoberfest weekends every Saturday and Sunday through October 18.

🏔️ See Mt. Lemmon Through the Eyes of an Award-Winning Travel Blogger

What makes Mt. Lemmon such a special place to explore?

Award-winning travel blogger and videographer Mike of Mike’s Road Trip recently spent time exploring Mt. Lemmon and put together this beautiful video showcasing just how much there is to experience on Arizona’s incredible Sky Island.

From the scenic drive up the Catalina Highway to hiking, biking, waterfalls, wildlife, mountain views and the charm of Summerhaven, Mike takes viewers on a journey from the Sonoran Desert to the cool pines high above Tucson.

✨ Stargazing at 7,700 Feet 🔭🌙

Join us Saturday, August 22 (or the 29th) for an intimate evening of astronomy beneath the dark mountain skies of Mount Lemmon.
Astronomer and telescope maker Zane Landers will guide guests through some of the summer sky’s brightest and most fascinating sights, beginning with Venus and the waxing Moon before moving deeper into the night sky.

Through a large-aperture telescope, you’ll get an up-close look at lunar craters, mountain ranges and shadows, along with colorful double stars, star clusters and other seasonal highlights. And as darkness settles in, specialized night-vision technology can reveal summer nebulae and portions of the Milky Way that would otherwise be difficult to see.

Potential targets include the Lagoon, Swan and Veil nebulae, depending on conditions.

This is a relaxed, small-group experience with plenty of time to look through the equipment, ask questions and simply enjoy an evening under the stars.
