On any given day, Michael and Teresa Jones of might get visitors from France, Japan, or just down the block in Sapulpa. Their nostalgic auto-themed “man cave” shop is full of Route 66 and classic car memorabilia, mostly made by Michael himself. The store is located in a renovated former Model T assembly plant and dealership, and it’s become a go-to stop for all Route 66 lovers, especially international visitors. The Joneses, a husband-and-wife team, both left their corporate jobs to run the shop; Michael left his sales job in the 90s, while Teresa just retired to join her husband full-time.
