Proud to know you and work with you, Alexis! Congratulations on this spotlight, the airports are absolutely in great hands!
The Chamber is spotlighting Alexis Higgins, CEO of the Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT), which operates Tulsa International Airport (TUL) and Tulsa Riverside Airport (RVS), both of which are owned by the City of Tulsa.
TUL welcomes more than 3.1 million passengers annually, and RVS is the busiest airport in the state of Oklahoma.
"The Tulsa Regional Chamber has been a strong partner in elevating awareness of new routes and our major projects, helping position Tulsa as a competitive and growing market for airline and business investment” Higgins said.
Tulsa has a globally recognized aviation and aerospace legacy, strengthened by significant recent growth. TUL is home to 127 companies employing more than 13,500 people, and RVS is a hub of flight training activity.
"Combined with a uniquely aligned high school and collegiate workforce pipeline, our region is built to sustain and accelerate industry expansion, and it’s exciting to see that first-hand,” Higgins said.
With 26 nonstop destinations and a growing route map, Tulsa International Airport makes it easier and more affordable for businesses to reach customers and for visitors to experience our city. That connectivity drives real economic impact by attracting investment, supporting tourism and keeping Tulsa competitive.
It is an honor for the Chamber to showcase Alexis and TAIT for continued contributions to the regional economy.
