Don’t Stop Believin’… you never know what surprises you’re in for at Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Downtown on a concert night!

With Journey at the BOK Center tonight, we decided to get in on the fun with a little Journey playing in our lobby to welcome arriving guests. The atmosphere was great, the music was even better, and our front desk agent KG was happily singing along while taking care of our guests! 🎶

Earlier today a guest gifted our General Manager a Journey T-shirt and when KG saw it, her excitement was impossible to miss! None of us realized just how much KG loved Journey, but seeing how genuinely excited she was about the shirt, there was really only one thing to do — give it to her, of course! ❤️ KG wore it proudly but nobody expected what happened next.

Another guest just so happened to have an extra VIP floor seat ticket and offered it to KG! 🤘 Just like that, our Journey superfan went from singing along behind the front desk to getting ready to sing along with the band in person — wearing her new shirt, of course!

KG is one of the newer faces on our Hampton team, but she’s already made such a wonderful impression. Seeing someone who spends her evenings making our guests feel welcome get a surprise like this was pretty incredible. The energy in our lobby was already something special tonight, but the generosity of our guests made it a night we’ll be talking about for a while.

KG, enjoy every minute of that concert! And to the guests who made it happen, thank you for giving us one more reason to love what we do. ❤️🎸
