In the past week, we've had so many wonderful conversations with people who want to come back "home" to visit family and friends yet have their own special space while in town!

💐Wondering why we named this very special place The River Retreat in Tunkhannock, PA?💐

We initially were thinking of calling it "The Eagle's Nest" because there are often eagles flying overhead.

However, we couldn't let the idea of it being a "retreat" out in nature go..

The word "retreat" just kept coming to us when we tried to name the place.

Once we looked up the definition, we just knew it had to be The River Retreat in Tunkhannock, PA! 🏡

Check out those windows! Truly, the views are incredible...from the front, you get enjoy looking at the mighty Susquehanna River and the view from the back of the house is the most gorgeous treelined yard!
