**E-BIKE POLICY – RUSTIC CREEK FAMILY CAMPGROUND**
For the safety of all guests, the operation of electric bicycles (E-Bikes) at Rustic Creek Family Campground is subject to the same rules and regulations as traditional bicycles. These rules are being strictly enforced in accordance with Pennsylvania law and the requirements of our liability insurance carrier.
E-Bike Rules
1. **Minimum Operator Age:** Operators must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to operate an E-Bike within the campground.
2. **Speed Limit:** The maximum speed for all E-Bikes is **5 MPH** throughout the campground.
3. **Restricted Areas:** E-Bikes are prohibited in the following areas:
* The Upper Hill
* The Jumping Pillow Area
* The Mini Golf Area
* Inside any campground building, including bathhouses, the store, arcade, pavilion, and all other campground structures
4. **No Cutting Through Sites:** E-Bikes must remain on designated roadways and may not be operated through occupied or unoccupied campsites.
5. **No Headphones or Earbuds:** Operators may not wear headphones, earbuds, or any other listening devices while operating an E-Bike. Operators must be able to hear surrounding traffic, pedestrians, campground staff, and emergency instructions at all times.
6. **Yield to Pedestrians:** Pedestrians always have the right-of-way within the campground. E-Bike operators must slow down and yield to pedestrians, children, pets, golf carts, and campground vehicles at all times.
7. **Safe Operation Required:** E-Bikes must be operated in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner with due regard for pedestrians, children, pets, golf carts, vehicles, and other campground guests.
# # # Parent and Guardian Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors comply with all E-Bike regulations. Any damages, injuries, accidents, or violations resulting from a minor's operation of an E-Bike shall be the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
# # # Enforcement
These rules are not optional. They are required for the safety of our guests and are being strictly enforced pursuant to Pennsylvania law and the requirements of our liability insurance carrier.
Any guest found violating this policy may have their E-Bike privileges immediately suspended or revoked for the remainder of their stay. Repeated violations, unsafe operation, excessive speed, operation in restricted areas, operation by an underage individual, or failure to comply with staff instructions may result in the E-Bike being prohibited from campground use and may further result in termination of camping privileges without refund.
Rustic Creek Family Campground reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or prohibit the use of any E-Bike that management determines poses a safety risk to guests, staff, or campground property.
By bringing and operating an E-Bike at Rustic Creek Family Campground, guests agree to comply with this policy and all directions provided by campground management and staff.
