Upstate New York’s Trolls & Treehouses Road Trip takes you on a magical trek to see six giant trolls and three one-of-a-kind treehouse stops across the state. Start at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, where Thomas Dambo’s six huge recycled-wood trolls hide along the outdoor trails from June 1 through October 31, 2026. While there, climb the Wild Walk’s four-story Twig Treehouse, cross treetop bridges, stretch out on the giant spider web, and look out from a life-size eagle’s nest with Adirondack views. Next, head to Ithaca for the TreeTops Treehouse at Cayuga Nature Center, a six-story wooden tower wrapped around living trees with ramps, stairs, trails, ponds, and valley views. Finish in West Falls at Blueberry Treehouse Cafe, where raised decks, coffee, pizza, blueberry treats, music, fire pits, lawn games, farm trails, and summer blueberry picking make a meal feel enchanted!
